Senior Service Desk Specialist
Synertex is hiring for a Systems Engineering Manager to leverage and support our government customer based in Springfield, VA. This position is required to be onsite.

Description:
The Systems Engineering Manager leads a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of senior Information Technology (IT) Engineers who develop complex solutions within an Enterprise environment.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Shall have 7 or more years of experience leading and directing IT Engineering Teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT architecture/engineering methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience developing or assessing technical engineering documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to articulate statuses, updates, and facilitate coordination with Government and contractor personnel. including senior-level executives.
- Demonstrated experience with IT Project Management, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, and/or IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Shall meet the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position as defined in SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance (See Navy Cool WebSite) for an Intermediate Level Research and Development Specialist (661).
Desired Qualifications
- Holds an advanced professional certification, such as the Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Demonstrated experience training and mentoring junior personnel.
- Working knowledge of all aspects of enterprise-grade IT systems across the stack: physical, networking, storage, visualization, servers, applications, services, and cybersecurity.
